Plans & Subscription

Choose the right plan, manage billing, and understand what each subscription includes.

Plans & Subscription

Stokly offers several subscription plans to match different business sizes and needs. All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and inclusive of VAT where applicable.

BookkeepingOnly R99 Businesses that just need bookkeeping, no invoicing/stock
PayrollOnly R149 Businesses that just need payroll, no accounting

Feature flags

Each plan enables specific capabilities (HasBookkeeping, HasPayroll, HasRecurringInvoices, HasCrypto, etc.). If a feature is hidden or locked, check your plan.

Changing plans

Go to Account → Subscription and select a new plan. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the start of the next billing period. Your existing data remains intact — features may become visible or hidden based on the new plan's capabilities.

Billing and invoices

  • Stokly generates a monthly invoice on the 1st of each month, billed to the tenant owner's email.
  • Payment method is configured in Account → Payment Method.
  • Historic billing is visible under Account → Billing History.

Trial period

New accounts get a trial period with access to most features. Once your trial ends, you'll be prompted to choose a plan — your data is preserved until you activate a subscription.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from the Subscription page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then. After cancellation, you have 30 days to export your data before it is scheduled for deletion (subject to statutory retention for financial records).
