How do I change my subscription plan?
Open Subscription from the account menu and choose a new plan. Changes take effect at the start of the next billing period.
Where do I configure email settings (SMTP)?
Go to Company Settings → Email Settings. Enter your SMTP host, port, username, password and sender name, then send a test email to confirm it works.
How do I run my first payroll?
Open HR & Payroll → Payroll Periods, create a new period for the pay month, and process. Our Tutorials walk through this step-by-step.
How do I invite a team member to my tenant?
Go to Users (admin only), click Invite User, and choose a role template. An invitation email will be sent.
Which VAT periods does Stokly support?
Stokly supports all SARS VAT cycles (Category A, B, C, D, E, F) with automatic period creation and transaction assignment.
Can I use Stokly without the Bookkeeping module?
Yes. The PayrollOnly plan gives you payroll, HR, and leave without accounting features. You can upgrade to a bookkeeping plan at any time.
Is my data backed up?
Yes — our hosting infrastructure performs regular backups. You can also export your data at any time from Company Settings → Export Data.
